Discover
the beautiful World Heritage acclaimed scenery and great roads
of the Blue Mountains, Hawkesbury Valley and Hunter Valley...
Make it a three day trip and ride one of the best biking roads
in the area to the Hunter Valley. You are regularly on and off
the bike during these tours as there's so much to see and many
of the sights require a short walk to see them. The two day tour
is 315km and the three day
tour is 670kms.
Blue
Mountains - incredible scenery with huge waterfalls, the
second largest canyon on earth, cable car rides and lovely walks.
See the Three Sisters, Wentworth Falls and a host of other scenic
lookouts before riding a circular route back around the mountains.
Stay at a lovely B&B with friendly hosts and incredible views
over the Hawkesbury River.
Hawkesbury Valley - the Hawkesbury
River winds through National Parks and stunning countryside with
lovely picnic spots and riverside communities.
Hunter
Valley - (3 day tour) This area is at the heart of Australia's
wine production. Ride along a stunning, winding back road past
the views and gorges of the Wollemi National Park to the vineyards,
restaurants and wineries of the Hunter Valley. The overnight stay
is a short taxi ride from the most famous restaurants and wineries
of the region. Arrive early and go on a wine tasting tour or save
it for a relaxed evening out amongst the vines!
On both tours the final day sees you return to Sydney via the
twisting minor roads north of and alongside the Hawkesbury River.
It's the perfect short tour for a long weekend but bear in mind
that available accommodation in this region can be difficult to
find especially at short notice as minimum number of night stays
often apply and costs are higher especially in the Hunter Valley
on Saturday nights.
There is no difference in costs if you
ride alone or with a pillion.
N.B. This tour can be adjusted to suit your timescales and preferences
- just ask!
