This tour takes you via all the main Tasmanian highlights including the Bay of Fires, Freycinet National Park, the historical town of Port Arthur, Hobart and the stunning Cradle Mountain National Park. All this combined with the famous Great Ocean Road and Grampians National Park in Victoria and then the fantastic roads and scenery of the Alps before riding into Sydney along the NSW southern coast..!

You'll start by catching the overnight ferry to Tasmania...

Bay of Fires - known for its gigantic limestone columns, a visit at dusk or dawn is an absolutely 'must'!

Freycinet National Park - steep granite rocks separate idyllic sandy beaches like 'Wineglass Bay' and 'Sleepy Bay' with a remarkable number of wildflowers in spring.

Port Arthur - the convict settlement on this remote peninsula still existed just 130 years ago and accounted for 12,000 prisoners! Even if you're not a history buff you can't help but be astonished by the place.

Cradle Mountains NP - explore breathtaking alpine landscapes with rugged mountains, crystal clear lakes, a rich flora and fauna and the unique walking tracks through the most famous National Park in Tasmania.

Once back in Victoria, the experience continues on our route towards Sydney...



The Great Ocean Road - Famous as one of the most scenic coastal drives in the world, words can't describe the wonderful scenery on this 280km stretch of road leading to Melbourne. There are stunning ocean views on one side and the Otway Ranges on the other with their temperate rainforest and eucalypts with koalas. It is a superb biking road and one that every motorcyclist should ride at least once in their life!

Grampians National Park - after riding through the Victorian Goldfields with their old fashioned towns, bakeries and coffee shops you'll find yourself in the lovely Grampians National Park. This area of granite highlands is jam packed with wildlife, waterfalls and superb lookouts . On really clear days you can even see the Great Ocean Road 170kms away! You'll have a day here to relax, explore the local area and perhaps take a walk or two through the peacefeul scenery.

Victoria Highlands - continuing from the Snowy Mountains in NSW, Victoria has its own share of beautiful scenery and winding roads.

Snowy Mountains - Huge alpine scenery in Australia? Most people don't realise that Australia has more ski runs than Switzerland! Ride fantastic twisting roads with breathtaking scenery past the towns of the snowflieds.

NSW Southern Coast - superb beaches, great scenery and lovely coastal towns can all be found along this route. Your first night stop is at Batemans Bay

Sydney - The Opera House, Harbour Bridge, Circular Quay, Darling Harbour, ferry boats to Manly... it's one of the most scenic and interesting cities in the world. A great place to start any tour with so much to see and great public transport - no need to hire the bike while you're here!
